On March 23, 2017, we organized our first LoGoSO-Roundtable. This time the focus was on the German part of the project. Together with a distinguished group of experts (Prof. em. Dr. Hellmut Wollmann, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; Prof. em. Dr. Christoph Reichard, Universität Potsdam; Matthias Stepan, head of the public policy program at Mercator Institute for China Studies; Knut Dethlefsen, head of division for East Asia at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung) on administrative studies and migration we introduced our research project and discussed questions on the contents and methodology of the project. Overall, LoGoSO was perceived as a relevant and timely project and received a lot of valuable input. A big thank you to all participants! We hope to maintain and – on the long run – to expand this network of experts for further intensive discussions.
